Emergency Messages to Students We are happy to relay EMERGENCY INFORMATION to your student during the school day.  Please call the main number at (512) 278-4630 and we will deliver the message in a timely manner.

Transportation Changes Please see above.

Cell Phones And Other Electronic Devices These devices are not allowed during school hours on our campus. Students may carry these devices with them AT THEIR OWN RISK (the school is not responsible for lost or stolen devices), but the devices must be turned off during school hours. Should your student's electronic device be picked up during the school for violation of the Student Handbook, you may pick up the device in the Discipline Office. If you need to leave a message for your student, please see the above sections for proper protocols.

Deliveries Should you need to drop off something to your student, please bring it to the main office before 11 a.m. and we will deliver it for you. Please note that balloon and floral deliveries are NOT allowed on campus or on school buses due to safety issues and disruption of classes. All such deliveries will be returned.

Birthday Party Food and Treats Individual birthday celebrations should be done outside of school. Please do not bring cake, pizza, and other such items to your child during school hours to share with friends.

Lockers Students at Decker Middle School do not have a locker, but are allowed to carry their belongings in a bakpack throughout the day and store it in their classroom.

Late Work Policy Students are required to adhere to all homework and classwork due dates given by the classroom teachers. Students who do not turn in the required assignments by the designated due date will be required to fill out a No Homework Student Responsibility Form. Upon submission of late assignments, teachers will deduct 10 points a day.

Agendas Agendas must be carried by students at all times. Each student is given a free agenda on their first day of class. Extra/replacement agendas are $3.00 and can be purchased in the Main Office
