The Scholars hope to acheive the following objectives this year:

1.  Learn to read, write, and express ideas by focusing on letter-sound relationships.

2.  Learn to manipulate numbers for various purposes by focusing on addition and subtraction, number patterns and relationships, spatial reasoning, measurement, and probability and statistics.

 3.  Learn to use information and critical thinking skills by safely participating in scientific inquiry, using tools, and recording information.

 4.  Learn about the world around us by focusing on history, geography, economics, government, citizenship and culture.
