Class objectives are as follows:

Social Studies: The students will describe ways that families meet basic needs, descrbe the similarities and differences in ways families meet those needs, describe various customs of families, obtain information from visual sources, identify main ideas, express ideas orally based on knowledge, and create visual materials.

Reading: The students will identify and decode long "e" words ("e" and "ee") and listen responsively to a story read aloud.

Math: The students will become familiar with the vocabulary of weighing and comparing objects' mass.

Science: The students will become familiar with weather, its effects on our earth, and its characterisitcs.
