On Wednesday, October 21, the Manor ISD Child Development Center (CDC) was recognized as Workforce Solutions Capital Area's Outstanding Child Care Provider. The facility was awarded for its efforts in providing quality child care services to children while supporting the further development of its staff and the advancement of early childhood education.
"Winning the outstanding child care award validates the good work our staff and teachers do everyday when working with our youngest learners," said CDC Coordinator Stacy Signaigo. "I would like to thank Karlene Bennett from Workforce Solutions Capital Area for believing in our quality program and nominating us for this wonderful award."
The CDC is a state licensed, NAEYC accredited facility that provides full time care to the children of Manor ISD employees and teen parents. The facility is licensed with the Texas Department of Family and Protective services and is noted as a Texas Rising Four Star Provider in the Workforce Solutions Capital Area's childcare services program.
The District congratulates the facility for its recognition and commends the hard work and dedication the CDC staff provide to the children of our community.
